Fri: 12 - 6 pm; Sat: 10 am - 2 pm

The Library is closed on major holidays, which include New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve or December 26, and Christmas Day.

There are many different kinds of projects you can participate in; many require no long-standing commitment, and can fit in easily to your schedule. Thursday morning picture book story time: Please join us at 11am. Our story time features stories, activities and crafts based on our theme.

Afterschool program: Will resume in the future. Prior proram details: Every semester the library offers an afterschool program for children in grades three and up. Each session carries a theme. In the past we have held afterschool programs on gardening, crafts, a chess club and folktales from around the world.

Concerts on the Common: Along with the Recreation Department, the Westford Library sponsors a series of three Concerts on the Common during July and August. Each concert runs from 7 to 8 pm and feature some of Vermont's most popular and interesting musicians. Check the town newsletter schedule for a listing of concerts.

Summer Reading Program:

Many thanks to everyone who helped "Make a Splash" this summer!

The theme for 2011 is ""One World, Many Stories" which focuses on world culture and world travel.
